Service opportunities:
Chancel Choir: Practice is at 7:30 pm on Thursdays in the Sanctuary
Stephen Ministry: Christians sharing Christ through listening
United Methodist Women: Woman’s mission group made up of small groups called circles
The First United Methodist church of Palatine is a founding member of the Spring Of Life Habitat for Humanity partnership. As a partnership, we are building homes for needy families in the Northwestern area in conjunction with the Habitat for Humanity of Fox Valley. The Partnership Web Site ( http://www.springoflifehabitat.org/ ) gives information our current building projects and upcoming fund raising events. For information please contact the church office.
Study opportunities:
Disciple Bible Study: Long term (32-34 weeks) Bible study. Disciple 2 and 4 will be offered this year. Classes meet on Wednesday evenings, from 7:00-9:00 pm and begin September 15, 2010.

Marks of Discipleship: Weekly devotionals
Thank God it’s Wednesday: The 2010-2011 season kicks off on
September 15, 2010 at 6:00 pm. T.G.I.W. is a mid-week connection that includes a light supper & fellowship, followed by the study of your choice.
Together in Christ classes: Familiarization to the Church. Four week study offered four times a year.
Small Groups: Call our office for times and places
Thursday Morning Bible Study: A 6-week study of the book of Numbers, from 10:00-11:30 am, September 23 & 30, October 14, 21 & 28 and November 11, 2010
Adult Sunday School Classes
